Colorado law requires local boards of education to adopt policies and prescribe rules and regulations necessary and proper for the efficient administration of the affairs of the district. C.R.S. 22-32-109. CASB offers a menu of policy services designed to promote effective school board governance and assist boards with their essential policy role. CASB offers policy training sessions on a variety of district-specific topics.
Policy Training Sessions are priced according to CASB's session fee schedule.
CASB provides comprehensive facilitation and consultation enabling the board to establish a new framework for effective governance under the Policy Governance model. The service includes development of policies in the areas of executive limitations, governance process, board/superintendent relations, and "end results" for students.
